Sat. Jan. 6 10:30 am Beach Impeach Aerial Photo Protest - SF

On Saturday, January 6, 2007 (just two days after the new US Congress
convenes), 1,200 people will gather for an impeachment event in Nancy Pelosi’s back
yard -- on Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

Early that morning, in 100-foot letters stretching 450 feet across the sand,
volunteers from the Beach Impeach Project will outline the message: I M P E
A C H !

At 10:30 a.m., the 1,200 attendees will arrive and lay their bodies down
inside the message’s lettering. At 11 o’clock a helicopter will arrive overhead
and photographers will record the 1,200 bodies in the sand -- “IMPEACH!” --
with the San Francisco skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

News editors will have compelling photos for the next morning’s Sunday
papers; the nation and world will have convincing evidence of how badly the American
people (even Ms. Pelosi’s own constituency) want their leaders held
accountable for the Iraq disaster; and the impeachment movement will have powerful
visuals to go with the words and chatter swirling in the air for months and months
now.

To participate, please take 60 seconds to register yourself and your friends
at www.volunteerforchange.com

Sat. Jan. 6 5pm-12am **Butterfly Gathering, Potluck & Benefit Concert -
Oakland

A Butterfly Gathering to build energy and momentum for all of us in the peace
movement during 2007. For those of you who pay attention to dates and
symbolism, January 6th is the Epiphany. We'll share our stories with author Norie
Huddle who will pass along additional ideas and stories that are useful for
organizing and sharing the Good News. This will be followed by a potluck supper
and Celebration Party, with music and dancing until midnight. *For the potluck,
use the "Cosmic Organizing Principle": bring something you love, so there
will be at least one thing there that you love.

Norie's book "Butterfly" is now recognized as one of the major models for
global transformation. When Deepak Chopra's Alliance for New Humanity held the
Power of Oneness Conference in Puerto Rico in December, 2005, Chopra used the
imaginal cell concept from her book in their promo. It was also used by Barbara
Marx Hubbard as the theme to "Conscious Evolution" and by Elisabeth Sahtouris
in her work. The Institute of Noetic Science conducted a two year research
study from 1998-2000 on patterns of transformation based on people's real-life
personal stories. Their report was entitled "What the Butterfly Knows" and used
Norie's model in a sidebar called "Wired for Wings."
You can view that article at
www.noetic.org/publications/review/issue52/r52_Thompson.html

Norie is looking forward to meeting you and learning more about you – and
about "who we all are together." She believes that we're reaching a “Good News"
level of clumping and clustering. Her hope is that by coming together more
closely and in some new and wonderful ways, "we'll be able to take a great leap
together into a whole new acceleration of transformational activity and
evolution.” We both invite you to join us in making this happen.

A number of very talented musicians and artists will be sharing their music
and art with us including: Fontains M.U.S.E., Land of the Blind, Human and the
Human Revolution, MamaCoatl, Laramie Crocker & Wendi Olsen, Papadave
'Whitehorse' & Marey Bird, Singing Bear, the art of Lindy Kehoe and others.

5 - 7 pm Meeting $10 donation. No one turned away for lack of
funds. Please be there on time.
7 - 8 pm Potluck* Free with dish, $10 without dish.
8:30 - midnight Concert $10-20
$10-25 donation for meeting & concert.
*Free entry for volunteers. RSVP with Alan

Huddle - San Rafael

Join authors Norie Huddel & Anodea Judith, Lion Goodman and Alan Moore for
an all-day workshop focusing on the questions:
-- Where we are now in the Transformational Process?
-- What are the leverage points for accelerating the Transformation?
-- How can we support each other and make the Transformation more
enjoyable? Norie will share a number of tools for transformation that she has been
experimenting with over the past 25 years. Norie's book "Butterfly" is now
recognized as one of the major models for global transformation.

Home of Lion Goodman & Anodea Judith in San Rafael
$100 ncludes lunch & snacks.
(Followed by an optional potluck, so please ring a delicious dish to share if
you wish to stay for supper.)
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.
You must register in advance by contacting Lion Goodman, 415.472.6500, or via
email: lion@everydayawakening.com

We will seek to build a shared graphic and mental map of the territory, and
share useful skills for personal and transpersonal transformation and
organizing. We will discuss the “Good News” that is already happening and how to
share it more widely. Norie and Lion will co-facilitate the meeting; Anodea
Judith, author of “Waking the Global Heart: Humanity’s Rite of Passage from the
Love of Power to the Power of Love,” will set the context with a dynamic
presentation from her book which uses Norie's caterpillar-to-butterfly story. This
will be a powerful gathering for talented activists, transformationalists,
networkers, and big thinkers. Participants who would like to share skills with
the group are warmly invited to do so -- contact Lion in advance to schedule
time on the agenda. This event may be videotaped.

The workshop is likely to include a group art project and time for
entertainment as well, so bring art supplies (especially images for a group collage on
Transformation) and musical instruments and songs to share. A “for sale”
table will be available to sell your books, CDs, crafts, etc.
